Market Demand
The global market for telecommunications services was valued at more than $730 billion in 1998 and it is forecast to grow to more than $2 trillion by 2010. A significant portion of the sectors future revenues will come from data services for multinational businesses and other large enterprises, broadband Internet access, and basic voice and data connectivity in rural and developing areas. These are all markets that Grand Design will serve either directly with integrated network systems or in partnership with terrestrial service providers.
